First Day of School

Well, here it is, the first day of school, 2001. Clarice simply had to make a fashion statement.

Gracie gave Clarice a goodbye handshake before we drove her off to her first day in 3rd grade.

Emma is very excited to be at middle school this year. Although she will miss friends and teachers at Whatcom Day Academy, it's nice to be back in the Bellingham public schools, since many more of her friends are there. We're also pleased, because the school is only a mile from our house.

Aren't our girls gorgeous? It's hard to believe that they're in 3rd and 6th grade.
